My name is Tomas Beke, I'm a web application developer and designer from Slovakia, Europe. In the present time, when not developing internal software, doing contracted work or maintaining existing sites, I work with Kremsa on their cool projects.

My first contact with web application development happened 9 years ago - I've built a custom back end for my graphics portfolio site. We can call it "a tiny little cms". Sourcecode and site long gone, the experience still remains. In the following years I've been inolved in virtually everything that defines design and development: web technologies, system applications, 2D and 3D design.

Both the web and the technologies evolved massively since then. Those simple information pages turned into complex multimedia applications using the latest technology, offering rich user experience and/or valuable services.

Despite of the existence of countless "out of the box" solutions for web site creation I prefer custom software development over the modification (attempts) of third party solutions. This decision makes a solid foundation for security, performance scalability and user friendliness.

As for my hobbies, I love music production, bodybuilding and fishing. It's a pity one cannot perform both three at the same time. I like videogames with a good story, hilarious movies, milk, water, healthy vegetables and fresh fruit. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the essence of the life - I love the presence of a charming woman. Unfortunately, there is no such person in my life right now, so girls - feel free to contact me. Good understanding of agile development methods and exceptional creativity required. Previous experience with the following programming languages.. oh Jesus, pardon me - i got it mixed up :)

And if you're, by any chance, interested in the technology behind this site, the front end is built using Lighspeed v2 - a custom MVC framework and the site is backed by SkylineCMS. Both running on a LAMP architecture.
